TBIC Meeting 8/26/09

Greetings inventors!
We all want to be successful bringing our innovations to the market and it helps to learn from those have achieved some success. Our next meeting, you will have a chance to meet someone who is now selling her product worldwide.

Audrey House is a retired Nurse from Frederick Maryland and the Inventor of Grabaroos, gloves designed for Office work, health professionals, postal workers, etc to keep hands safe from paper cuts, dirt stains, etc..........

One of her other major markets is the quilting industry.

They currently have 5 major distributers and are in several quilting/sewing catalogs and the gloves are being sold worldwide! Audrey will join us to tell how she did it and what it took to get it done. Please join me in welcoming Audrey House this Wednesday night to the Tampa Bay Inventors Council!

Our August 12th TBIC Inventors meeting will feature a presentation from Mats Bengtson of SCORE, and will discuss SCORE services that are available to help inventors turn their ideas into a business. Mats background includes industrial engineering with “ Lean manufacturing principles “ , Cosmetic manufacturing , Sales training , Insurance , Computer and software sales and retail sales and he is currently the chair of the Pinellas SCORE chapter. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and an opportunity to network. The meeting starts at 7pm and runs until 9pm. Details and a map are available at www.tbic.us.
