Patents explored 5/13/09

Welcome TBIC inventors! Our next meeting will feature an interesting look at the Patent library at the University of Central Florida provided by the man on the front line, Patent Librarian, Hal Mendelsohn. You will learn about how to use the UCF Patent resources, some of the many patents UCF has been issued, and Statistics about patents in the U.S. and foreign countries. Hal will explain how future patent owners who visit UCF can search the records and how to use the USPTO website to search using the Classification Code. This will be a great opportunity to hone your skills at making effective patent searches. Additionally, we will have some show & tell from our members who want to share their skills and innovations. This will be another fun meeting so please come on in and make our guests feel welcome!
