Inventors Meeting 2/28/07
One of the main ingredients in creating a successful invention is producing a working prototype. This can be an expensive and confusing process and this week we will try to help you out. First we will hear from Barry's Tool & Die about machining and problems you could encounter if you don't do your homework. Berry's Tool and Die has been in business for over 12 years, serving the Aerospace, Military, Industrial and Commercial industries. They specialize in Machining Prototypes and Short Production runs in Aluminum, Plastic, Copper, Steel, G-10 (PC board), and Phenolic. They also worked with Inventors to Design, Document and Create Prototypes for Patent Submission. Customers include Fortune 100 clients, as well as Individuals and Small Production Facilities.
Please make them feel welcome and prepare any questions that you may have for a Q & A session!
We will also hear about the networking opportunities associating with the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, one of the largest groups in Florida working to make Tampa Bay the next big technology hub in America. Several hundred companies and thousands of members work with TBTF to make their associations count. Find out if TBTF is right for you in promoting your innovation. Visit www.tbtf.org to learn more.
And one last thing. All TBIC members in good standing can enter to win a $250 credit for rapid prototyping from Mydea Technologies. Just drop your name in the hat and we will draw a winner next month.
See you at the meeting!
