Licensing - Topic of our next meeting 6-9-10

On Wednesday, June 9th, TBIC is pleased to welcome Attorney John Schnackel to speak to our inventors about an issue near and dear to our hearts. John will speak to our inventors about licensing your innovation to businesses. John is dedicated to serving the legal needs of small and emerging companies throughout the greater Tampa Bay Area. He feels that small companies deserve the same kind of care and attention to their legal concerns as that given to the CEO’s at large companies – who tend to either hire in-house legal talent, or retain the services of large, expensive law firms. John has served for several years as the in-house General Counsel for two of Tampa Bay’s fast-growth, high-tech companies. Through his private law practice, he now offers this same level of personalized service to the owners and executives of smaller companies. John was the Past President for the Small Business Resource Network (SBRN), West Central Florida Region and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1983 and the Florida Bar in 1996.
